Intro:
A screw-up.
That’s what I am.
Pisses you off, don’t it?
This mess, this shitshow closing in on me from all sides.
In here, in my head—it’s a right fucking storm.
Thoughts spinning round, all useless, all bollocks.
Like scraps floating in a bin.
Nothing grows in here. Just the same old shit, on repeat.
It don’t stop. It don’t shut up.
Like a hammer banging, like a machine that never powers down.
Round and round, no way out.
Like a rat in a cage, running in circles.
I clench my teeth, lock it down, smother it—no mercy.
I leg it, I try, I look for a way out.
But fuck me, I’m stuck.
Everything drags me back to the same old crap.
To what I’ve lost, to what I’ll never have.
Can’t move forward, can’t be anything but a shadow.
A pirate? Nah. Too free. Too alive.
So I stay here, trapped.
Wanna shout, wanna break something, but there’s always something holding me back.
Some excuse, some chain round my neck.
I’m done. Buried. Stuck in the muck.
Rolling in it, drowning in my own shame.
I look at myself in the mirror—don’t crack.
Don’t fold.
All the shit I leave undone just piles up, like scrap left to rust.
It’s me against me, a fight that never ends.
No winners. Just the same old punches.
Thoughts hit like a sledgehammer.
I sway.
Flat out.
Alone.
Again, I do what I always do.
Bury it. Lock it down. No regrets.
I run, I hide—same old story.
Them voices, them ghosts in the dark, they don’t know shit about me.
But they weigh me down, push me under.
Always there, like foremen watching, waiting to pull the trigger.
Claws out, waiting for me to slip.
Holding me back.
So I stop. I pace.
Looking for a reason, something that makes sense of all this bollocks.
I wanna smash it all up.
But why? What’s the point?
No matter what,
I’m still locked up.
